From Tahiti to Maupiti:
By Plane:
You will arrive at Tahiti-Faa'a International Airport, the only international airport in French Polynesia.
Before the exit gate, a very friendly Duty Free awaits you with products much more affordable than the local shops.
Think about it if you want to bring back some gifts for your Polynesian friends.
Once you have passed customs, the Air Tahiti domestic flights terminal is just to your right.
You can take your connecting flight to Maupiti or go explore the various regions that make up French Polynesia.

If you have euro notes, and too many, the exchange counter, in the airport hall, 500 € Max per person and per day.
The banks are not very good at this exercise, but CB withdrawals are possible without fees almost everywhere.
By boat:
There has recently been a very interesting nautical alternative: APETAHI EXPRESS
This ship serves Maupiti several times a week from Papeete, with very interesting stopovers (Bora Bora, Tahaa, Raiatea, Huahine)

From Maupiti airport to the Blue Lagoon:
Maupiti has a small, brand new airport, made up of a single building.
Once you have disembarked from the plane, a short walk will take you to the main airport building, where our greeter will be waiting for you.
He will help you collect your luggage before boarding our small boat, and will take you directly to the Blue Lagoon.
The actual boat transfer is 10 minutes from the airport.
From Maupiti Harbor to the Blue Lagoon:
If you are arriving by boat, Apetahi Express, Maupiti Express, or private boat, our greeter will be waiting for you, will help you collect your luggage, board another boat, and will take you to the Blue Lagoon.
The actual boat transfer is 5 minutes from the harbor.
*Since the Blue Lagoon is located on a Motu (isolated islet), we offer a free shuttle service to the main island.
